THE DRAGON GUARD
W. Steele Frisbee
Fantasy written by a Marine veteran who knows that courage and good planning are not the same thing.
About the author
W. Steele Frisbee writes fantasy about warriors, dragons, broken histories, and people who keep fighting after the sensible options have been exhausted.
He is a United States Marine veteran, a longtime computer consultant, and an author with more than twenty years behind the keyboard. That combination may explain why his heroes approach magic like unfamiliar equipment: determine what it does, identify how it can kill you, and never trust the documentation.
The Dragon Guard blends portal fantasy, military experience, found family, hard fights, and the kind of humor people use when the plan has failed but the enemy has not noticed yet.
When he is not writing, editing, or arguing with imaginary people about their tactical decisions, he is usually working on another book that was supposed to be shorter.
What to expect
- Furred dragons
- Elven warriors
